How it Works
•The QSArray V2 can be operated in an on-line environment or as demonstrated here, as a static, off-line test cell.
•The Number of and configuration of robots would be determined based on vehicle architecture and line-speed requirements.
•This test cell uses Fanuc robots with RJ3iC controllers. featuring–Fanuc Vision 500. A 3D, PC based, vision system capable of locating the vehicle within +/-50mm of the reference location.
•The Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) in The test cell uses Allen Bradley controls solution, with ControlLogix PLC, EtherNet, DeviceNet, and HMI
•Safety features of the V2 include – Light curtains and laser scanners to prevent accidental start up and provide emergency stop capability that meets automotive safety standards
